Ingredients
- 24 free range chicken wings, cut in half
- 2T chopped garlic
- 1 large ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced
- 8T sugar
- 8T kikoman soy sauce
- 3T sweet indonesian soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- fresh coriander to garnish
- oil
Cooking Directions
- place the wings on an oven tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 15min
- meanwhile, heat up a little oil in a frying pan, add the garlic and ginger slices
- when it is fragrant, add the sugar, the 2 kinds of soy sauces and the water
- cook until the sauce thickens a little
- take the wings out of the oven, drain the fat and toss the wings in the sauce
- garnish with coriander
- serve
