The Barn Bookshop (formerly the Bookshop in the Loft) has now been in existence for five years. It's new location is at the Foodbarn Bakery & Deli and is very easy to spot as you walk-in! All books are for sale and have prices on the back cover which are recorded at the point of sale tills.

Locals use the bookshop as a meeting place and many 'recycle' their books through the shop. Writers find the unique ambience makes it the ideal spot to make notes for their next novels and deli patrons enjoy browsing through the books as they sample the delicious food. About two thirds of the books are modern fiction and the the non-fiction categories include books on travel, the environment, biographies, psychology/self help and poetry. There is also a small collection of childrens' books.
